The White Company took over one of the most special houses in Soho for their Xmas 2011 preview. It is an old Georgian house where very little has altered over the years and all the old mouldings and fittings remain, truly atmospheric.
It is always good to see Christmas presented in real size rooms and the combination of the focus on white decorations with the old coloured walls worked well.

So nice to see these sweet shades for children in the depths of winter. Much as I love the snow we have had today, the light is unremittingly dull so roll on springtime please.
Pastels and florals are key at The White Company and The Little White Company with a new set of large decorative letters, patchwork quilts and gingham and floral rabbits and sweet floral pumps. Also chic are the grey stone hearts with chalk for personal messages and the enamelware set of jugs and buckets for the beach house.

I want to show you the pictures from this fantastic house in Fitzroy Square in London, it is the perfect setting for The White Company to have shown their Christmas products, the grey toned walls set off the white items so well and is also the perfect house, I think nobody wanted to leave once through the door.

I can understand how an artist would have loved it as the corner site allowed big windows all down one side as well as the front and back of the house which let in huge amounts of light to the drawing rooms.
